Mayor Joseph Arman C. Bauzon visited the Municipal Nursery at Barangay Malabago. He oversees the development in the said nursery to fast rack the production of fruit bearing seedlings that will be given to every barangays for their tree planting activities and advised to propagate varieties of vegetable seedlings to be given to the farmers and individuals who wants to start or sustain their backyard garden.
As part of the preventive measures on the current health threat of the public brought by CoViD-19 pandemic, Mayor Joseph Arman C. Bauzon ordered for a regular disinfection and decontamination at the Zone 3 of Brgy. Macabito. Municipal Fire Marshall SIns. Jovencio Ilumin, Jr. and his team from BFP Calasiao took the lead in the said operations.

Kasalukuyang pinapairal ngayon ang Zonal Lockdown sa Brgy. Macabito (Zone 3) matapos ipahayag ng Pamahalaang Lokal ng Calasiao ang tatlong karagdagang kaso ng CoViD-19 sa bayan. Ayon na rin sa rekomendasyon ng Inter-Agency Task Force at ng DOH na kailangang isailalim sa Enhanced Community Quarantine ang nasabing lugar.
Dahil sa kautusang manatili sa kani-kanilang mga tahanan, agad namang umaksyon ang Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Calasiao sa pamimigay ng mga relief goods sa mga residenteng apektado ng zonal lockdown.
Hinihikayat din ni Punong Bayan Joseph Arman C. Bauzon ang lahat na makiisa at makipagtulungan sa opisyal ng barangay at makipag ugnayan sa itinalagang Command Post sa naturang lugar, at ipagdasal na rin ang agarang paggaling ng mga kabaleyan nating tinamaan ng sakit dala ng CoViD-19.
After the declaration of the 3 additional positive CoViD-19 cases in the municipality, Mayor Joseph Arman C. Bauzon immediately ordered a disinfection operations at Zone 3 Brgy. Macabito. This is a huge segment of effort to minimize the spread of the virus

Bagamat tayo ay humaharap sa matinding krisis dulot ng pandemya ng CoVid-19, kinilala at binigyang pugay ng National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) ang Pinablin Calasiao bilang isa sa mga Pamahalaang Lokal sa buong Pilipinas na nagpapahalaga sa kasaysayan at kultura ng sariling bayan. Ito ay matapos makapag sumite ng mga imbentaryong kultural para sa Philippine Registry on Cultural Property (PRECUP) alinsunod sa Batas Republika Blg. 10066 o ang National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009.
Matatandaang nagsagawa ng pagkalap ng impormasyon at pananaliksik ang Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Calasiao ng kabuuang kabilin (heritage) at kasaysayan (history) sa pamamagitan ng Cultural Mapping Project sa tulong ng NCCA at ng Center for Pangasinan Studies (CPS).
In cooperation with the Local Government Unit of Calasiao and the Munipal Agricultural Office, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) of Pangasinan conducted a training-seminar on Rice Machinery Operations NC II at the Agricultural Auditoriom in Sitio Pandayan, Gabon, Calasiao on August 11, 2020. The said training is under the Rice Extension Services Program of the Department of Agriculture.
Almost a hundred trainees coming from the different barangays in the municipaliy attended the Training Induction Program (TIP) which was conducted by TESDA Provincial Director Mr. Jimmicio S. Daoaten. The program itself is designed to fully equip the farmers and the farm workers with skills to increase rice productivity and accelerate mechanized farming in the country. The training was also graced by Dra. Aurora Diaz Mamaradlo, President and Owner of the GreenMont Systems International, Inc. as the accredited training partner of TESDA Pangasinan.
“Patuloy na nakaagapay at sumusuporta ang Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Calasiao sa mga ganitong programa para sa sektor ng Agrikultura, upang maitaas pa ang antas ng kalidad ng pamumuhay ng ating mga minamahal na magsasaka sa bayan sa pamamagitan ng scholarship programs” Mayor Joseph Arman C. Bauzon said during his delivery of inspirational message.
Philippine Commission on Women Chairperson Sandra Sanchez Montano, had a courtesy visit to Mayor Joseph Arman C. Bauzon, along with the OFW Family Association and the Provincial PESO Mr. Alex Ferrer on August 10, 2020. The Chairperson discussed the livelihood program for the manufacturing of facemask to empower the womens group and the LGBTQI in our Municipality, considering the present situation that we are experiencing due to CoViD-19, living with the new normal.
In preparation for the upcoming school year 2020-2021, Mayor Joseph Arman C. Bauzon had a meeting with Mr. Ace Lorenze P. Jorgio, Early Child Care and Development Focal Person regarding the Modular Learning Methods on New Normal for the incoming Early Childhood Care and Development Learners in the Municipality. Moreover, Municipal Social Welfare and Development under the supervision of Mdm. Editha B. Gorospe, MSWD Officer together with Pinablin Calasiao Day Care Workers are on full swing in preparation for the opening of classes on September 7, 2020.
The Municipality of Calasiao formally welcomes PLTCol. Ferdinand Z. De Asis as the new PNP Calasiao Chief of Police. Mayor Joseph Arman C. Bauzon likewise thank the former Chief of Police, PLTCol. Joseph Fajardo Jr. for his dedicated service to the municipality and wished him success in his new assignment.
