To strengthen our fight against COVID-19, additional contact tracers were hired and assigned to the Municipality of Calasiao. It can be recalled, that in the past few weeks, our municipality has recorded a rapid and alarming increase of COVID-19 cases. Mayor Joseph Arman C. Bauzon said during a meeting on October 14, 2020, that these newly hired contact tracers will greatly amplify the COVID-19 efforts and to further decrease the daily cases. “With their help, and the collaborative efforts of MHO, PNP, the Local Government and the Officials from the 24 respective barangays, surely we can ultimately defeat and end COVID-19 in Pinablin Calasiao”, Mayor JAB added.
Aside from this, other agenda tackled in the said meeting was the OPLAN UNDAS 2020 wherein, the local government, Calasiao PNP and the Municipal Health Office is now on its full swing for the upcoming All Soul’s day. The team has already finalized the guidelines to be implemented, minimum public health standards should always be observed by the public.
Other attendees of the meeting were MLGO Officer Mdm. Marilou Geslani, Municipal Health Officer Dr. Jesus Arturo de Vera, PNP Calasiao Chief of Police PLt.Col. Ferdinand de Asis, MFM SInsp. Jovencio Ilumin Jr., and MDRRM Officer Freddie Villacorta.
